I made this video by telling my dad I wanted to make a movie. He did all this acting I told him to do and then I made the video with my kids as the "band". We all love Weird Al and this is his best song IMHO. (Great Chords, eh?) We almost got caught in one of the stores cuz we looked suspicious picking up all the tools and putting them back. Worth all the trouble.
Another video gift for my parents. We were nuts. That is the 4 of us sibs dancing on our front lawn of our house. What must the neighbors have thought. Thank God we're blurry. This was for their 25th wedding anniversary. We had fun. We got the whole family involved in this one. fun fun.
Michael had the idea to do a full song and we finally did. This was arranged by C Hine for a 9/11 memorial service. Since my dad taught us tags(the beautiful end to a barbershop song) when we were growing up, it was especially touching to him. From the left it is Cassie(tenor), Karen(lead), Kevin(baritone) & Michael (bass).
Back before we could edit movies on our computers, we edited on the fly. This is the result of our version of the fairy tale with a 2-year-old playing a baby bear. The players:
Papa Bear: Matthew (age 7)
Mama Bear: Cassie (age irrelavent)
Baby Bear: Andrew (age 2)
Brownie-locks: Marianne (age 9)
Gotta love timing of the "This is too cold" line!!!
Another gift for my parents, this video is a collection of all of us just having fun! We are a close family and this video sure shows it!
Credits go to Ace of Base for the song "It's a Beautiful Life"
This is a song we sang for our parents one christmas back in '89. I wrote it to sum up all the things that were common in our family. A few harmonies were irresistable. "One of those hair-brained ideas that looks goofy on paper but somehow turns out alright"
